Miami Skyline at Twilight
This particular evening, and perhaps almost every evening, there was a good crowd of photographers on Watson Island where this was taken from. I stayed for a few hours, chatting with my cousin and shooting away. I am lucky to have walked away with any images at all, as when I first set up my camera, the image stabilizer in my lens would not stop violently shaking. That led to about 30 minutes of sadness and frustration, but thankfully it stopped that bizarre behavior for a while, and a few weeks later it was gone for repair. When I first shot this, I was annoyed that the ship moved into my shot just as I began the panorama, but in the end I think I like it that way.
